Our Mission

We began this site primarily as a method of selling our own electronic productions and to solicit new ideas, manuscripts, etc. for similar production.  Times change - and so has our mission.

Over time we have seen many requests for assistance with  methods of getting various Family History and Civil War materials into some format that might be distributed and or sold.  There were requests for help with graphics, formatting, OCR, and even scanning of materials, (not to mention the production of a Music CD (Pictou) and a documentary DVD for Scotland .)   AND - there were growing numbers of folks who really preferred a way to produce the materials in print format rather than electronic.

After searching for some time for a short run and/or vanity press that could provide a high quality printed book at a very reasonable price point, we found InstantPublisher.   They are now our 'printer of choice' for clients desiring that format for their work.  We help with proper formatting, cover layouts, graphics, ISBN's and advice to get the job done correctly on the first try - and it works well !!

We also have begun to receive inquiries from areas other than Family History and Civil War.  It seems that there are a lot of folks who have written something wonderful, and want to get it into print.  So, we now are a 'Publisher' for our own materials, and a 'Publisher-Helper' for others.  Once in print or in electronic format, the client takes the reins for marketing, promotion, and sales.

We still have a very special interest in previously unpublished Civil War Diaries and materials !!
