All of the page numbers referenced within Old Hickory are directly tied to the same 'electronic' page number and may be accessed directly via the "Go To Page" box. Most navigation through the book will be by use of the navigation arrows for 'Next Page' LINKS are provided within the pages of the book to glossary information for selected terms. The links are shown as blue colored words/phrases. Clicking on the selection will pop-up a glossary page. The CONTENTS page entries are directly linked to the selection shown. SEARCHING is available via a very nice Javascript search engine script. It is quick and easy to use, providing a short description and a link to the related page(s). BOOKMARKING is incorporated into this book to accommodate a return to your last viewed page on a subequent visit to the book. [NOTE: cookies must be enabled on your computer to allow this function to operate!] Clicking on the Bookmark icon will set a red go-to flag next to the book icon. On your return to the book, clicking on the flag will take you to the bookmarked page and clear the bookmark for future use. POP-UP windows may not open if you have a "popup blocker" set in your browser! |
